We were approached by the owners of the Cog Hill Golf Club for some ideas on how to “update” their large, main dining room.  We knew instantly that we had an opportunity for a complete transformation.  Wood paneling was the option that we kept coming back to and, thankfully, the clients were intrigued.  One of their main concerns, however, was not making the room too dark and opposing.  Our solution was to use Butternut wood for the ceiling paneling; to keep that light, yet warm, and Mahogany for the walls and trim in order to integrate the existing dark trusses of the building.  The result is a large space that now is more intimate and refined.
